INGRID LAUBROCK receives the Deutscher Jazz Preis for Holzblasinstrumente for 2025.

This Friday evening (13th of June), outstanding personalities and projects from the German and international jazz scene were honored with the German Jazz Award 2025 at the E-Werk in Cologne.
An international main jury selected this year's award winners from 76 nominees in a total of 22 categories - from artistic achievements and album productions to festivals, journalistic achievements and music education projects.

A prolific composer, Laubrock was named a “true visionary” by pianist and The Kennedy Center’s artistic director Jason Moran, and a “fully committed saxophonist and visionary“ by The New Yorker.

Congratulations Ingrid, well deserved!
